Ceeeelebrate Good Times, Come On!

Hi y'all!! Remember me?

Holy cow...I just noticed it has been a month since my last blog post. That seems unacceptable to me, I miss you guys! I guess I haven't blogged in awhile because I've felt like I have nothing blog-worthy going on. I wish I was one of those people that can make a blog post out of going to the bathroom...but I'm not.

I can, however, make one out of going to Estes Park for a long weekend. : )

Recently, Garrett passed two tests for work that will allow him to be a licensed stock broker. {Go Garrett! Go Garrett!} He was stressed about them so once he was done, and we found out he had passed both, we took off for Estes Park for the weekend to celebrate. {Hence the title of this post and the song that is probably stuck in your head!}

I'll spare you the day-by-day boring recap, but only because all we did was eat, hot tub, and shop around. In other words, we were lazy with a capital L.

Happy to be on vacation, even happier to be a brand new Aunt! Before we left Friday, I got the good news that my sister had had baby Kinley and was doing great! Took a selfie to commemorate it...

Smokin' Daves. Ate here twice and could've gone back for a third time.

Shopping around downtown Estes, in the snow.

We had dessert every meal, as one should while on vacation.

Rocky Mountain National Park.

The wildlife in Estes is my favorite thing about it and the only reason I got my "real" camera out all weekend. I have gotten so lazy about using that thing!

We spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub. Hot-tubbing in the snow is the best!

The whole weekend I was on my phone. I felt a bit guilty, but I was so excited for my sister and to see all of the pictures I was getting. I'll be blogging about all of that soon!

Anywho, we had a great time in Estes. Sometimes lazy vacations are the best and you really don't want to go back to real life afterwards. However, we had to go back to real life, and to work, but are so thankful we had a little getaway to refresh!
