This weekend was a good one.
And I have quite a bit of pictures to prove it, so I will just go ahead and start without some long, over spoken introduction like usual.
You're welcome!
Two weekends ago, Garrett and I went to the Cherry Creek Farmers Market. It was awesome! This weekend I went by myself, which was a little less awesome, but still fun.
This is what we left with 2 weekends ago.
A loaf of lemon pound cake, fire roasted jalepenos, a small chocolate pecan pie, and a loaf of bread. All homemade, all delicious!
Look how pretty these little booths were!
This weekend I left with homemade tortillas and I bought a red velvet doughnut to eat while there. It was AMAZING!
After G got done with work we went to the mall where I finally got to shop around a bit. There is a new H&M in this mall = EXCITING!
We had fun in Urban Outfitters.
Are these not the cutest thing you have ever seen? And the most random?
Saturday night, Garrett and I had dinner at The Cherry Cricket which is a burger joint/pretty much anything you want restaurant with a cool outdoor atmosphere. The weather was to die for. I had a burger with peanut butter on it. Before you make the disgusted face, give it a try. It's yummy!
Welp, folks...that was our weekend. Nothing too exciting but a great one at that.
Sunday we just watched football all day. I'm playing my mother in law in fantasy football and I'm kicking her butt! (Hi Julie! I love you! : ))
Monday is over and only 4 more days until the weekend. I hope you all have great weeks!!
What a fun weekend!! Seriously? A red velvet donut?!? Why must you torture me Whit??? That looks AMAZING. That lemon poundcake is also making my mouth water. I wanna go to that Farmer's Market!!
ReplyDeleteOne stupid question....I thought all flowers were organic? What's the difference between regular flowers and organic ones?
Brit, that doughnut was to die for. I wish I had bought a dozen! Lol And honestly, I have no idea what the difference in "organic" flowers and regular flowers are. I agree with you...I thought they were all organic!
