Sunday Confessions

1. I confess that I haven't felt like blogging lately. Or even reading any blogs. What is wrong with me? Usually that is the first thing I look forward to doing in the mornings...getting up, reading your blogs, and writing my own. Lately I have felt like I have nothing to blog about. Do you ever feel this way? Hopefully I snap out of it soon!

2. I confess that I think this whole GFC/Bloglovin' thing is really annoying. I was just getting excited about my new followers on GFC and now that might go away and I have to try and convince them to switch to Bloglovin and follow me there? DUMB. I've heard so many things about this whole ordeal so who knows what's even going on. Maybe it is all a conspiracy by Bloglovin' to get users? I bet that's what it is!

3. I confess that my parents visited last week and I do not have a single picture to prove it. Granted, we didn't really do anything picture-worthy but still, I usually atleast get a couple for the blog. Shame on me.

4. I confess that G and I watched not one, but two John Travolta movies last night. Pulp Fiction and Grease. Guess which one I chose? : )

5. I confess that I somewhat ruined the surprise of Taylor Swift's Red Tour for myself by watching YouTube videos of her first show last week in Omaha. That show is going to be sweet. I can't wait!

Sorry I'm Not {Really} Sorry

I have a ton of things that I'm not really sorry for.

For example...

* I'm not sorry that I love reality TV. Alot. I record The Bachelor/Bachelorette and Biggest Loser every week and treat them like they are gifts to myself. I try to save them for as long as possible so that I have something to look forward to every week. Pathetic?

{Ps. His stomach did not look like this on Monday's episode. Just FYI}

*This one get's it own star, even though it technically goes with the above one: I'm not sorry that I like the show Duck Dynasty. It took me awhile to come around, but Season 3 is now recording on the ol DVR.

{Ps. I actually think Jase is pretty hot.}

 

*Sure, she may be annoying to alot of people and date every boy that gets her attention {according to the media atleast}, but I'm not sorry that I love Taylor Swift. Evidenced here, here, and here. While everyone else is tired of hearing about her, I still am not!

*I'm not sorry that it ticks me off when I follow a person's blog, leave comments, you know...make myself known, and that person never acknowledges I am even there. Don't get me wrong, I know that you aren't going to like and connect with every single blogger out there, but I would never just ignore a person! Does this happen to you?

*I'm not sorry that I hate going to work, or even having a job at all. The fact that America spends 40+ hours a week at work is insane to me. No wonder our lives go by in the blink of an eye, we spend the majority of it at work.

*I don't like seafood, and I'm not sorry about that either. Other than the fact it would be one more healthy option to add to my picky taste. Ok, I guess I am a little sorry. But, gross!

*I don't find Channing Tatum or Ryan Gosling atrractive and I'll leave it at that.

*I find psychological issues, and just psychology itself extremely interesting. Last night on Katie, the topic was Transgendered children and it was so interesting to me that I decided I was going to take the next hour or two and educate myself on some things I have always wondered about. When Garrett got home from work last night, I was well educated on transgender surgery and how one can go from having female parts to having male parts, pictures and all. I told you it was interesting to me.

*I'm not sorry that, despite my love for T Swift, I really don't love music all that much. I literally never listen to music unless I am in my car or working out. The husband is a whole different story, if he is home, there is music on.

Sunday Confessions

Happy Sunday Grammy's!

Since it's Sunday, and before the Grammy's start, I have several "Sunday Confessions" for you guys. I just love doing these! : ) 

1. I made my first cream filled cupcake last week. It. Was. Delicious. We may or may not have already eaten the majority of them. Garrett said it was his favorite cupcake ever! {Recipe coming soon!}

2. Garrett and I had a pretty lame fun weekend. We played board games and went to see The Hobbit in 3D. I have to say, even though I reeealllly didn't want to go watch The Hobbit, I actually liked it better than I thought I would.

Have you ever played Settlers of Catan? So fun!

3. I bought 4 {FOUR} boxes of Girl Scout's cookies yesterday. To be fair, we haven't had them in forever, and there aren't that many cookies per box. I think my favorite is still Thin Mints, but the peanut butter one's gave them a run for their money.

 4. I might have gone a little overboard with my excitement for The Walking Dead starting back tonight. I found a Walking Dead app called Dead Yourself:

Sunday Confessions

Hi friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours seemed to have gone by way too fast, as usual.

Today I am linking up here for Sunday Confessions.

1. I don't like beer. At all. Or any type of alcohol really. I mean I like the occasional girly, fruity drink, but that's about it. Just not much of a drinker. Garrett got a Mr. Beer beer kit from my family for Christmas and bottled his beer today. Like a kid in a alcohol candy store!

2. Garrett and I ended up with about $75 worth of Starbucks gift cards after Christmas. I won 2 in a giveaway and we got the rest as gifts. Needless to say, we have been making quite a few more trips to Starbucks. I have fallen in love with their Birthday Cake Cake Pops! SO good!

3.  Remember when I told you that Garrett surprised me with VIP tickets to Taylor Swift? Later that day, I found out that we are on the 4th row!! I wasn't supposed to even know that he had gotten me VIP tickets until Christmas, but my ability to figure out secrets combined with his inability to hide things from me, resulted in me finding out a little early. This was in one of my wrapped gifts under the tree:

5. Garrett and I worked for 2 straight days on a new blog design for Keeping Up with the Cyperts, and I decided to "debut" it with a giveaway. The giveaway starts on Wednesday morning (a couple of blog friends and I are giving away some great things so be sure to check back!) but I am having a hard time waiting to put up my new blog design. I have just gotten so tired of this one! Hopefully the new one will last me awhile. 

Sunday Confessions

1. I still haven't finished my Christmas recaps. I think I have 2 left to go. I always take too many pictures and end up breaking them up into more posts than necessary. Thanks for being patient and for still reading my blog even though I am behind!

2. I tried Starbucks' hot chocolate for the first time this weekend. I am sad to report that I did not like it. I have always had it in my mind that it would be the best hot chocolate I would ever have, and it wasn't. I'll stick with my Swiss Miss hot chocolate at home!

3. I got Garrett (and myself) a new board game for Christmas. We love it and have basically stayed in all weekend playing it and catching up on The Walking Dead. 

4. Garrett and I spent pretty much all of our Christmas money on a new laptop. Our old one got to the point that I couldn't even upload pictures to it anymore. If I can't upload pictures, I can't blog, which means my old self won't have all of these posts to look back on. BIG problem. It's technically my first Mac, and I love it! 

*5. This one I am a little embarrassed to admit. But I am going to anyways because it's funny and I know you guys will be nice. Great, now I have built it all up to be this big thing and it's really not. I do that alot.

On NYE, I tried on probably 10 different outfits and combinations of outfits. NONE of them were doing the job. After trying on something, I just threw it on the floor because I was mad.

Everything I tried on is still on our bedroom floor:

I haven't felt like picking them up because, well, they pissed me off. I don't even care that they are getting stepped on.

*Babe, I am sorry our bedroom is a disaster because of my inability to choose an outfit, I will try to have them all picked up (or burned) by sometime this week. I love you! : )

Sunday Confessions

Sunday = Sunday Confessions

1. Garrett and I went out with some friends Friday night and were out until 5am. For us, that it pretty much nonexistent. I couldn't even tell you the last time we went out. We are usually in bed by midnight. We are going to make the perfect old couple!

2. We still haven't put up our Christmas tree or any Christmas decorations. Usually we put it up the day after Thanksgiving. I don't know what's wrong with us! Football is on today, so it won't get done today either.

3. I won the group giveaway from For Lauren and Lauren and I am super excited! It comes with SO many great things! Click on the "group giveaway" link above to see what all I won!

4. I love Coca Cola. Like, alot.

 For example: Garrett and I went to Old Chicago for dinner several months ago and I ordered a Coke and our waitress said, "Will Pepsi be ok?" Inside I was screaming, "HELL NO! Pepsi will NOT be ok!" But on the outside, I smiled and told her I would take a water. I wasn't as sneaky about my disappointment as I thought because our waitress apologized several times for not having Coke. She disappeared for several minutes and came back with a Coke that she had ran across the street and bought at a convenience store!  I almost cried. That is how much I love Coke.

5. I am obsessed with The Walking Dead. It is SO good! Garrett and I just finished season 2 and can't wait to start the third. If you don't watch it, I definitely recommend it!

Sunday Confessions 3

Hi pretty's!

It's Sunday which means it's Sunday confessions time. 

1. I have a shopping addiction but not enough money to fuel it. I've loved shopping ever since I can remember. There's just something about buying things, particularly clothes, that can make a girl happy. I've tried to get more into fashion these past couple of years so maybe that's why? Regardless, I love to shop! 

I got these awhile back and am loving the pink heart necklace. Forever 21 has such cute, cheap jewelry! Just don't expect it to last forever. The clutch was on sale at Anthropologie. 

2. My blog really pissed me off just now. I started this post a couple hours ago and kept getting a message saying, "Whoops! You have ran out of space!" every time I tried to upload pictures. So I have a question for you...what do y'all use to upload pictures to your blogs?  I have always just uploaded straight from my computer but apparently my "Picasa Web Album" is full. I don't even know what that is. Please help!

3. I am so ready for Thanksgiving that I can hardly stand it. Yes, because of the yummy food, but more so because my family is coming to stay in Denver for several days. Garrett and I both could definitely use some family time. I haven't seen my sister since last Christmas, that is just insane!

4. I LOVE to bake. Way too much. If you have followed my blog for any time at all, you probably already knew this. My biggest Pinterest board is called, "Delectable Desserts".

5. Garrett and I both REALLY hate going to the grocery store and because of that have nothing to eat. Ok, we have some things to eat, just nothing that my picky self wants. We even have giftcards that my sweet mom and dad sent us for Halloween and we still don't want to go. Lazy.

Sunday Confessions 2

1. I already have Taylor Swift's new album, Red, pretty much memorized. It's an awesome album! My favorite songs are:

That was hard. Picking only 3. I love the whole album.

2. I got my butt kicked in fantasy football this week. By my brother in law. I'm no longer in first place. : ( 

 But, I'm in 2nd. : ) 

3.  I have a huge crush on Clay Matthews. I mean, look at his arms!

There's a second part to this Clay thing, the last time I tried to download a picture of him for my desktop background, we are pretty sure it gave my computer a virus. I like to joke that Clay Matthews gave me a virus. Garrett doesn't think it's as funny as I do.

4. I told myself that the next time I ate out I would order a salad. It didn't happen. Either time. So, to all of my blogger friends, I promise...next time I eat out I WILL order a salad. There, now I have to.

5. Candy corn is gross. There I said it.  (I'm sorry Brit, please forgive me and still be my friend. Please!?)

Sunday Confessions

Hi y'all!: )

For awhile now I have been wanting to link up to Alyx's Sunday Confessions, so today while I was sitting on my couch munching on chips and queso, I finally decided to do it.

Don't judge me. Too much.

1. I am a HUGE Taylor Swift fan. 

I love the girl. I think she is gorgeous, talented, and just adorable. Garrett and I went to her concert last year and it was AWESOME! Read about that wonderful experience here. I even love her new song, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, and I can't wait until her new album is out in October. The 22nd to be exact.

2. I have puppy fever.

Living in Denver has made me puppy crazy. Everywhere you go, people have their dogs with them. Garrett and I contacted someone we know who has a new litter of Australian Shepards and have been debating on whether or not to get one for several weeks. What do you think? I found this sweet baby's picture online, this isn't the one we may get, but close.

3. I want a hairless cat. Bad.

Ever since I found out that there was such a thing as a hairless cat, I have wanted one. You can go on and on to me about how ugly they are, but it won't phase me. I have 2 little furballs right now and what I wouldn't give to not have cat hair everywhere!

4. I really hate showering.

Gross I know, but you try having my hair and then see if you ever want to shower! Don't worry, I still shower, but not without complaining for a long time beforehand. I would give my left arm to be one of those girls who can just step out of the shower, air dry their hair, and be good to go. Ok, I won't give my arm, but you get the point.

5. I love TV. Alot.

My favorite shows right now are Dexter, Modern Family, True Blood, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Full House, Yes, Full House. An episode a night of Dexter or Modern Family have kept Garrett and I happy for awhile! : )
