Alan Jackson

On Thursday, Garrett and I went to an Alan Jackson concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
He. Was. Awesome.

What was even more awesome was that our tickets were free! Thanks to Garrett. (You rock hun!)

Garrett designed a logo for a class project and Red Rocks Amphitheater ended up using it, which scored us 2 free tickets to any concert of our choosing.

The lovely logo my hubs designed:

He's a talented one I tell ya.

So, Thursday night we trekked up the long uphill trail to the long sets of stairs to Red Rocks. It is a workout to get to this venue. As in walk a ways, stop, walk a ways, stop.
They make you work to sit in their venue by God.

We didn't get many pictures, no good pictures atleast. Stupid venues and their stupid rules against certain types of cameras. Thank goodness for small cameras and iPhones. : )

Gloriana opened up for Mr. Jackson.

Then Alan came on stage!

Red Rocks

We bursted with pride for our country when he sang, "Where Were You". We laughed and danced when he sang, "Chattahoochee" and we got a tear in our eyes (or full on cried if I'm talking about myself) when he sang, "Remember When". That songs a tear jerker.

We had so much fun and are so thankful we had the opportunity to go!

Thanks for being awesome and designing a logo and getting us free seats babe! ; )

  1. In our area (about 4 hours away) we have the George Gorge that a ton of people perform at. I have been once and I can totally relate to the hike to see the concert. Looks like you had fun!
