Our Wedding: Part 1

I love to blog because I think that looking back on my posts one day will be sentimental and fun. Did you know that you can put your blog posts into an online book and have it printed...pictures and all? What a perfect little coffee table book!

In thinking about this, I realized that something I have never written about is our wedding. I've talked about our 1 year anniversary in Vegas and Lord knows I have gone on and on about my wonderful husband, but I wanted to share some wedding pictures with you guys too!

Garrett and I were married on July 31st, 2010...almost two years ago!
We chose to do something a little different and planned a destination wedding on the beach of  Riviera Maya at the gorgeous Moon Palace Resort.

On our way to Mexico!
That is my wedding dress in that huge white bag. I had to carry it everywhere!

Us, our families, and a couple of friends spent several days at the resort prior to the wedding. We played on jet ski's, went parasailing, laid by the pool, and sang karaoke. Not to mention had our filling of yummy buffet food and room service goodies. Oh and I got to hold a monkey!!

I just realized how long this post could potentially be, so I went back up to the title and added "Part 1". We took entirely too many pictures and it is too hard to choose from them, I don't want to leave any out! You know, the whole "looking back/sentimental" thing.

In my next wedding post there will be pictures of our actual wedding, like I promised in this post. I have alot of pictures of non wedding things from that trip, but I have a TON more of actual wedding and pre-wedding pictures. Hopefully I won't have to add a "Part 3" to finish this all up!

Thanks for hanging in there! : )
