Sorry I'm Not {Really} Sorry

I have a ton of things that I'm not really sorry for.

For example...

* I'm not sorry that I love reality TV. Alot. I record The Bachelor/Bachelorette and Biggest Loser every week and treat them like they are gifts to myself. I try to save them for as long as possible so that I have something to look forward to every week. Pathetic?
{Ps. His stomach did not look like this on Monday's episode. Just FYI}

*This one get's it own star, even though it technically goes with the above one: I'm not sorry that I like the show Duck Dynasty. It took me awhile to come around, but Season 3 is now recording on the ol DVR.
{Ps. I actually think Jase is pretty hot.}

*Sure, she may be annoying to alot of people and date every boy that gets her attention {according to the media atleast}, but I'm not sorry that I love Taylor Swift. Evidenced here, here, and here. While everyone else is tired of hearing about her, I still am not!

*I'm not sorry that it ticks me off when I follow a person's blog, leave comments, you know...make myself known, and that person never acknowledges I am even there. Don't get me wrong, I know that you aren't going to like and connect with every single blogger out there, but I would never just ignore a person! Does this happen to you?

*I'm not sorry that I hate going to work, or even having a job at all. The fact that America spends 40+ hours a week at work is insane to me. No wonder our lives go by in the blink of an eye, we spend the majority of it at work.

*I don't like seafood, and I'm not sorry about that either. Other than the fact it would be one more healthy option to add to my picky taste. Ok, I guess I am a little sorry. But, gross!

*I don't find Channing Tatum or Ryan Gosling atrractive and I'll leave it at that.

*I find psychological issues, and just psychology itself extremely interesting. Last night on Katie, the topic was Transgendered children and it was so interesting to me that I decided I was going to take the next hour or two and educate myself on some things I have always wondered about. When Garrett got home from work last night, I was well educated on transgender surgery and how one can go from having female parts to having male parts, pictures and all. I told you it was interesting to me.

*I'm not sorry that, despite my love for T Swift, I really don't love music all that much. I literally never listen to music unless I am in my car or working out. The husband is a whole different story, if he is home, there is music on.

What are you not sorry for?

Linking up with Kaitlyn!

  3. You cracked me up! Totally disagree on Ryan Gosling and Channing Tatum haha :)
    But I HATE seafood too! I'm with your husband on the music.

    I'm right with you on connecting with bloggers and not getting responses. I once wrote an email to a blogger I really admired, who had been through the fertility treatment I was about to start and wanted her advice. I poured my soul out and never got a one word response... yet when she tweeted about being on a particular diet and I sent her a great cookie recipe that worked in that diet, I got an email back! Kinda made me lose a bit of love.

  4. Um, yes I hate work too. It is insanity. And my eyes got SO HUGE at your Channing Tatum/Ryan Gosling comment. Ryan is my MAAAAAN. Whew. Let's not get me started this early in the am.

  12. I have to say, I'm with you on the Channing Tatum thing. I don't see it. He can dance (I mean, have you seen Step Up?) but I don't know, he kind of looks meathead-y to me. But Ryan Gosling? I can't agree with you on that one. He's the perfect combination of scruffy and metro.

  13. I completely agree with you about work. It makes absolutely no sense to me that we're stuck doing a job the majority of our lives.

  14. Loved this! I'm totally with you on the Channing Tatum thing, not a fan andddd Jace is hot and my favorite as well!!!!

  15. It's so funny you said Sean's stomach didn't look like that on Monday's episode...Z and I were totally talking about the exact same thing! Zach said it looked like he had gotten a litle pudgier since the show first aired....must be his lack of time to exercise (and probably lots of good food!). And I'm so glad you finally came around on Duck Dynasty...isn't it great?? Pretty hilarious. I do have to disagree on the Channing Tatum and Ryan Gosling thing...they are both smoooooooooookin. At least we see eye to eye on JGL...cutest man EVER.

    1. Haha Sean actually tweeted awhile back saying he had gotten "softer" due to traveling and not having time to exercise as well as eating good food. He is kind of a tool. And yes, I am glad we agree on JGL! : )

  16. Ha, are we the same person?

    I am SO with you on the work thing. I feel like I'm wasting so many precious hours of my life at work when I could be spending time with the people I love! I'm not sorry that I feel that way.

    I also don't get the appeal of Ryan Gosling. He's okay looking, but I find so many other men more attractive. Channing Tatum is just...meh.

    I'm also really fascinated by psychology and how our minds work. I think it's because I grew up with a mother who was a social worker and she talked about this stuff a lot!

  17. This is a crack up!!... And I'm completely obsessed, as well, with Duck Dynasty. When I was seeing the ads I was totally saying it would never happen... but it did. And I agree, Jase is it!! You know there's another brother? Alan.

  18. I'm with you on the Ryan Gosling thing! What's the big deal?? I do have a thing for Mr Tatum though! I'm also not sorry about not being too thrilled with the idea that I have to spend 40 hours a week at a place instead of getting to spend more time enjoying life. Boo! Not fair. There are people in the world that get to do that and yes I am jealous. I don't ignore other bloggers either. If they are a no reply commenter I'll try to go over and comment on their blog when I get a chance.

  19. Ooh, I love seafood. I also love Duck Dynasty. Jase is my fave.

  20. I'm loving these!!! Psychology is my favorite!!! That's what my major is and seriously, all my classes have been wonderful. I'm in abnormal psych right now. We go through a different disorder every time we meet. We talked about OCD two weeks ago and it was really sad because i sat there thinking "yup that's me" and 'yup that's me". That wasn't fun lol.

    And the Bachelor and Biggest Loser. Cant go a week without watching! I'm like you with the Bachelor. I tape it Mondays and try to prolong it, although I think about it ever second!!!
